Thanks for Making Our Season so Bright
It was an opening weekend to remember and we’ve officially sold out in record time! Thanks to everyone who came out to the farm and brought home a beautiful, fresh cut tree.
The incredible turnout was beyond our wildest dreams and we are so grateful.
As much as we’d love to stay open longer, we’ve been told that the biggest mistake tree farmers make is to oversell — not leaving enough trees for future seasons.
Most of remaining trees we could sell this season are on the smaller side (about 5’ tall) and we know that given another year to grow, they’ll make truly stunning 6’ or 7’ tall trees — so we’re going to close for this year and let them grow.
We’ve already ordered (literally) thousands of seedlings to plant in the Spring, so we can start growing the number of trees we have available each season. It takes time (approximately 7 or 8 years) for them to get to the size most people are looking for — but if we learned anything over the last few days, it’s that we’ll want to have more trees and give more trees the chance to get nice and tall.
It’s bringing us so much joy and we love being a part of families’ holiday season. We’ve learned a ton in this short time and already have a whole bunch of ideas about how to make things even better next year.
If you happened to visit and have feedback or ideas of your own, please don’t hesitate to share them. You can always send us an email at hello@visittreetopacres.com or drop us a DM on Facebook or Instagram.
Speaking of Facebook and Instagram, we’d absolutely love to see your trees decorated and shining bright at home — so please tag us in your pics using #visittreetopacres
We appreciate everyone who came out so much — including the many long time customers who gave us (as new owners) a chance.
And to our unbelievably supportive family and friends who came from near and far to be there with us this past weekend, you are all amazing and we love you.
We’ll be back in 2025 — and in the meantime, we’ll be sharing lots of great (and hopefully helpful) content here and on social. Stay tuned and have a very merry Christmas!
With love: Pat, Liz, Emmarie & Pierogi
