At Treetop Acres, we wholeheartedly believe in the power of trees—not just during the holidays when they bring joy into homes as Christmas trees, but all year long — as vital parts of our environment. That’s why we’re thrilled to team up with our friends at Maier Tree Service this Arbor Day for a special community tree-planting initiative! 🌱

On Friday April 25th, we’re making Arbor Day extra special by:
✅ Planting new trees to support reforestation and sustainable growth.
✅ Giving away a FREE tree (plus professional planting!) to a deserving homeowner, family, or local organization.

🌿 Nominate Someone to Receive a Free Tree!

Do you know a neighbor, nonprofit, school, or community space that could use a little extra greenery? We’re looking for someone who would love a tree but might not have the means to plant one themselves. We’ll work with the team at Maier Tree Service to provide not only the tree but also the expert planting services needed to ensure it thrives for years to come!

🌎 Why Proper Tree Planting Matters

Planting a tree isn’t just about putting it in the ground—it’s about ensuring it grows strong and healthy. Did you know?

🌱 A properly planted tree can live 50-100 years or more, while an improperly planted one may only last a fraction of that time.
🍃 Trees absorb up to 48 lbs of carbon dioxide per year, cleaning the air and fighting climate change.
🌲 Planting too deep is one of the biggest mistakes! A tree's root flare (where the trunk starts to widen at the base) should be at or just above ground level to prevent rot and disease.

That’s why Maier Tree Service will be on-site for all of our Arbor Day plantings, ensuring that our new trees—and our giveaway tree (species to be chosen by the recipient)—are planted for success.
